Derek Pinelli

Derek Pinelli serves as Registered Operations Manager at Sullivan & Associates in Newburgh, NY. Derek is a lifelong resident of the Hudson Valley.

He graduated from Marist College earning a Business Administration degree with an emphasis in Finance. Derek is an avid golfer and enjoys spending his free time with his wife and newborn daughter, friends and the community.

Derek started his career in 2009 with HSBC Bank and has continued his financial career with HSBC Securities and First Niagara Investment services. After eight years in the industry, his longtime and established business partners Robert M.

Coombs, Senior Financial Advisor, Anthony Ortiz, Senior Financial Advisor, and Taylor Coombs, Senior Financial Advisor, established their own office by joining forces with Wells Fargo Advisors Financial Network to form The Captiva Group. Derek has over twelve years’ experience in wealth management field.
